Ensono Acquires Data Engineering Firm AndPlus

Ensono, a Top 250 Public Cloud MSP backed by KKR, has acquired AndPlus, a cloud-native data engineering firm. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Ensono Acquires AndPlus

Ensono, founded in 1969, is based in Downers Grove, Illinois. The company has 2,261 employees listed on LinkedIn. Ensono’s areas of expertise include support for mission-critical workloads, infrastructure modernization, price optimization, system migration and more.

AndPlus, founded in 2009, is based in Southborough, Massachusetts. The company has 32 employees listed on LinkedIn. AndPlus’ areas of expertise include mobile application development, web application development, custom software development, hardware integration, iOS, Android, enterprise app development, UI/UX design, IoT, machine learning, artificial intelligence and digital transformation.

The acquisition is part of Ensono’s strategy to scale its cloud and data engineering capabilities. AndPlus’ capabilities complement Ensono’s end-to-end transformation offerings in the areas of cloud-native development, application modernization, site reliability engineering (SRE), DevSecOps and data engineering, according to the company.

AndPlus works across a number of different industries and counts business and financial services media company Bloomberg among its clients. AndPlus partnered with Bloomberg to create Bloomberg Vault, an archiving solution that allows companies to conduct eDiscovery search and analytics.

Following the acquisition, AndPlus will become part of Ensono Digital, Ensono’s public cloud advisory and consulting practice, the company said.

KKR acquired Ensono for an estimated $1.7 billion valuation from private equity firms Charlesbank Capital and M/C Partners in April 2021.
